The Process

  • A psychologist sitting with your emotions

When you're unsure about making changes

We’ll work together to uncover your own reasons for change and strengthen your commitment to your goals. My role is to be your guide as you explore your own motivations and find the confidence to take the next step.

This is often accomplished through Motivational Interviewing.

When you feel stuck in old patterns

I’ll help you understand where these patterns come from and empower you to break out of them for good.

We’ll gently explore the root causes of these painful patterns so you can heal old wounds and build a healthier, more authentic life.

This approach if based on the principles of Schema Therapy.

When you want to find a way forward

We’ll shift our focus from what’s wrong to what’s working and what’s possible.

We’ll identify your unique strengths and past successes and use them to help you build the future you want. You’ll leave each session with clear, actionable steps that empower you to create meaningful change.

This is the core of Solutions Focused Therapy.
